Our First Glimpse of Sebastian!
It's hard to believe, but it was on this day last year that we received our referral for Sebastian. I'd gone to Eden Prairie to have lunch with Steve, and decided to do a little shopping on my way home. I stopped at Kohl's in Maple Grove. at 1:50 PM, my phone rang. It was our social worker, with the news we had been waiting for: she had a referral for us! I started crying in the middle of the store; they must have thought someone had died or something. I called Steve to tell him the news, and then rushed home to open the e-mails that would have all of the details, including pictures of the baby boy who was to become our son. Steve and I decided to wait until he got home from work to call anyone else, but once he got home, we were both on the phone pretty much the rest of the night -- except for a trip to Dairy Queen for a treat!
It's been an amazing year.

Looks like you guys are having lots of fun. Congratulations on passing a milestone in the ongoing adventure of your family. And don't forget to call me when you guys make it to Disneyland!
